The Sabroso Craft Beer & Taco Festival will take over the picturesque Lake View Park near Irvine Lake with a Cinco de Mayo celebration of tacos and beer tastings on Saturday, May 3 from 12 to 4 p.m. The event comes courtesy of “OC’s Best Craft Beer Festival” producers – Brew Ha Ha Productions.

Sabroso, which means tasty, will feature unlimited tastes from over 50 craft beers on tap and more than 30 types of gourmet tacos from top local chefs, restaurants and trucks for only $2 each. Entertaining attractions, contests and live music courtesy of Slidebar Rock N’ Roll Kitchen and Latin DJ sensation Bobby Soul will add to the atmosphere of the Sabroso festival. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Irvine based Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation dedicated to improving the care, quality of life and survival rates of children with malignant diseases.

The combination of craft beer and tacos continues to increase in popularity, and Sabroso serves as an ideal platform for the perfect Cinco de Mayo pairing to shine. Top local chefs and restaurants such as Executive Chef Greg Daniels of Haven Gastropub and Taco Asylum and Executive Chef Cody Storts from Hopscotch Tavern and well known gourmet food trucks such as Dos Chinos and Porko Rico will be on hand to offer attendees the best in SoCal’s regional flavors.

The 21 and over event will provide ample craft beer tastings to enhance Sabroso’s gastro delights. Brewers, owners and staff from local breweries such as Stone, Bootleggers, Saint Archer, Ballast Point, Noble Ale Works, Iron Fist and new breweries Valiant and Bottle Logic will be on hand to enjoy the day and share their finest.

The $55 festival pass offers great value including four hours of unlimited craft beer tastes, $2 tacos, FREE water and parking, live entertainment, shopping, games and contests and more. Tickets for Sabroso Craft Beer & Taco Festival are now on-sale at http://sabrosotacofest.com. Brew Ha Ha events have sold out for the last two years.
